In April 2013 we introduced single point-in-time data collection for the first time. Previously providers were asked to complete the Self Assessment of Service Statement (SASS) and Service Data Form (SDF) in the weeks leading up to inspection. This change introduced a single annual data collection.
Our 2014-15 data collection will take place during autumn 2014, but will only affect settings who are due an inspection autumn 2014 to the end of the inspection year.
What this means for providers
You will no longer be required to return data collection forms before autumn 2014. We will contact you if you need to submit information at the appropriate time.
