Chief Inspector, Imelda Richardson joined walkers on the Nordic walking programme supported by Age Cymru in Cardiff yesterday. The group was made up of 16 people aged over 50 with the eldest aged 80 years.
Imelda Richardson said:
National Older People’s Day celebrates the contribution older people make to our society. Groups like this are important for older people, it allows them to make new friends, provide company for each other as well as keeping active, staying fit and healthy. Age Cymru’s Nordic walking programme plays an important role in this.
