Changes to regulation 38 notification form for care home providers
Information about a minor change to the regulation 38 notification form and how it affects care home providers.
What are the changes?
- Care service providers now need to notify the local coroner when a person using their service dies and who are also the subject of a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards authorisation.
- The 'Notification of Death' section of the notification form has also been updated to include reference to this change.
