Consultation on fostering, adult placement and advocacy services regulations
Welsh Government is seeking your views on regulating certain types of advocacy services, as part of phase 3 of implementing the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016.
The Act establishes a new system of regulation and inspection of social care that upholds the rights of Welsh citizens to dignified, safe and appropriate care and support.
Welsh Government is consulting on improvements to the regulation of fostering services, adult placement services and, for the first time, of advocacy services in respect of children’s statutory advocacy.
