Ratings to resume for Childcare and Play inspections from November
We temporarily suspended awarding ratings during the pandemic and after a review have decided to resume ratings from Monday, 8 November 2021.
Ratings provide clarity for parents and the public about our judgements. They are a way of recognising good work and highlighting areas where performance could be better. As such, they have an important part to play in promoting good outcomes for the children who use childcare and play services in Wales.
