Who am I?
My name is Kate Cubbage. I am a values based third sector leader with a passion for developing creative and ambitious teams united behind shared goals. I am a consensus builder, adept at creating meaningful connections and building mutually beneficial partnerships to deliver maximum impact.
What do I do?
I am the Director of Carers Trust Wales, part of Carers Trust, the largest network of organisations across the UK that supports and advocates for unpaid carers. I am also Chair of Wales Carers Alliance and Deputy Chair of the Ministerial Advisory Group for Unpaid Carers.
I have held a range of professional and voluntary roles within the third sector over the last 20 years and have lived experience as a young adult carer and parent carer.
My areas of interest and/or experience
I have a particular interest in ensuring that all unpaid carers are given the recognition they deserve and the support they need to live healthy and fulfilling lives.
I am also committed to championing the vital importance of sustainable investment in the third sector.
