Local authority improvement check letter: Pembrokeshire County Council adult services
This letter summarises the findings of our improvement check inspection of Pembrokeshire County Council’s adult services in April 2024.
We conducted this improvement check inspection between 22 and 25 April 2024, to review the progress made by the local authority following our performance evaluation inspection in April 2022.
We carry out inspection activity in accordance with the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014; key lines of enquiry; and the quality standards in the Code of Practice in relation to the performance and improvement of social services in Wales. This helps us determine the effectiveness of local authorities in supporting, measuring, and sustaining improvements for people and in services.
