Cyber security training available for social care sector
Funding for the training has been provided by Welsh Government.
In the last 12 months, UK organisations have collectively experienced an increase in cyber attacks.
As a result, Welsh Government has provided funding to ensure staff in the Welsh social care sector can receive cyber security training via Cyber Ninjas (External link).
The programme, which has been checked by the National Cyber Security Centre, consists of two hours of online lessons broken down into modules, covering subjects like cyber-attacks, phishing and hacking.
The Cyber Resilience Centre for Wales (WCRC) (External link) is working alongside Welsh Government to ensure social care organisations can purchase Cyber Ninja licences. For more information and to enrol staff onto the training programme, please contact the WCRC team (External link).
