How we work with other regulators and inspectorates.
We work closely with the other main inspectorates in Wales:
- Estyn (External link)
- Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (External link)
- Wales Audit Office (External link)
The Inspection Wales Programme (External link) outlines our joint activities to improve services for people.
We also work with other inspectorates across the UK and are part of the 4 Nations Forum.
We are a member of the UK National Preventative Mechanism (NPM) set up to strengthen the protection of people in detention through independent monitoring. Visit the NPM website (external link) for more information about their work.
Agreed protocols, concordats and memoranda set out how we work with other regulators and inspectorates, and authorities involved in improving the quality of social care and social services in Wales and share good practice.
